TRUMP: The evidence mounts
Former Republican Rep. David Jolly assessing his Republican colleagues: “These are, in today’s Republican Party, spineless politicians, rotten to the core. Without virtue, without any level of human integrity. Devoid of self-respect, self-reflection. Without courage and without the moral compass to recognize their own malevolence. One day maybe they will have the recognition of how they failed the country and themselves in the moment.”
Republican Rep. Jim Jordan on the Democrats not allowing the House intel committee to question the whistleblower: “The person who started it all, we’ll never get a chance to question the individual.”
To which Peter Welsh, Democrat of Vermont responded: “I’d be glad to have the person who started it all come and testify. President Trump is welcome to take a seat right there.”
Roger Stone got emails the Russians had hacked from the Democrats, which were funneled to Wikileaks and then sent by Stone to Trump. Stone is the sixth Trump aide to be convicted of cases related to the Mueller investigation.
Looking forward to Stephen Colbert’s unhidable book “Whose Boat Is This Boat” being donated to the Coeur d’Alene library.
