TRAINS: Listen before buying

| November 22, 2019 12:00 AM

This is in response to the article about train noise in Post Falls. I have to laugh and feel sorry for the people who buy or rent homes near airports or railroad tracks. The noise issues were there when they moved into these homes and then they want to complain about the noise later.

I lived by a very active track years ago. After a few months, I didn’t really notice the noise, never mind wake up at night anymore.

These tracks have been there for years. Now we want to complain about the noise.

When I searched for a home, I made sure it was not near things I had concerns about like forest fires and flooding.

Maybe I’m not like most folks these days. If that’s the case, let me say sorry now.
