North Idaho XC: North Idaho XC made an impressive show while hosting the USATF Inland Northwest Association Junior Olympic XC Championship on Saturday.
Teams from Spokane, the Tri-Cities, Yakima and North Idaho battled over a wet and curvy course that made use of every inch of incline on the Lake City High School grounds in Coeur d’Alene.
Runners competed in distances from 2,000 meters to 5,000 meters depending on age group. The top 35 runners and top 5 teams qualified for the USATF Pacific Northwest Regional Jr. Olympic XC Championship on Saturday in Eugene, Ore.
For North Idaho XC results, see accompanying photos in Youth Sports.
