BIKES: Two-wheeled blessings abound
I just wanted to pass along a good word to the Coeur d’Alene Press for the article on “Collective turns old bikes into new hope” from the Tuesday, Nov. 12 front page. I commend Tom Morgan for using his skills and time to turn old bikes into workable bikes to bless others. What a great way to contribute back to our community!
I loved reading about it and I thank you, Tom, and your volunteer helpers, for this caring effort for others. I also appreciate Tom’s testimony in giving in the name of Christ, which is what all Christians should be doing. There is no greater joy for a believer!
I also commend the First Baptist Church on East Wallace in Coeur d’Alene for their willingness to share their facility to help others do a good deed. A great combination. I wish you all well and may many benefit from your caring and helpful work ethic.
Now we all know what the Lake City Collective is and does. May God bless all involved in this outreach ministry.
Thank you for all the faith stories you have been running in our newspaper.
