Rebecca A. (Dole) Campbell, 37

Rebecca (Becky) Campbell, 37 of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away from cancer at the North Idaho Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene on Nov. 7, 2019.

Becky was born on Nov. 12, 1981, in Pullman, Wash., to Warren Dole and Tammy Simonsen (Dole). Becky grew up in North Idaho. She graduated from Lakeland High School in 2000.

Becky married Erik Campbell on Aug. 26, 2006, in Post Falls. They have two children, son Avery Thomas Campbell (age 11) and daughter Brynn Nicole Campbell (age 10). Becky and Erik divorced in 2017 but remained close friends and co-parents.

Becky’s greatest accomplishment is her children. She loved them with all her heart and they brought her so much joy.

Becky was a runner. She ran in many races, including the Portland marathon in 2017. She was very proud of herself to complete the marathon.

She also enjoyed hiking, playing games with her kids and hanging out with friends and family. She was a devoted sister. Above everything else, her children brought her the most joy.

Becky was employed by Ednetics for the past eight years. While there, she developed many personal and professional relationships that she valued deeply.

Becky is survived by her two children, (son) Avery T. Campbell and (daughter) Brynn N. Campbell of Coeur d’Alene; father Warren Dole (Tanna) of Oregon; Mother Tammy Johnsen (Chuck) of Arizona; sister Nicole Rodriguez (Julian) of Oregon; grandfather ER Woodland (Barb) of Post Falls; grandmother Marian Dole of Rathdrum; three nephews and three nieces; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Becky was preceded in death by grandfathers John K. Simonsen, William A. Dole and grandmother Betty L. Woodland.

A special thank you to exceptional friends Kelli Jo Alderman and Joy O’Brien. Thank you for sharing her journey with us.

The family would like to thank the Hospice of North Idaho Staff for all the love and support you gave to Becky and her family, no matter what name her sister gave you for the day.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Yates Funeral Home, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of North Idaho or the charity of your choice.

Becky, you may gone, but you will be in our hearts forever.
