- Hayden residents are invited to the Imagine Hayden community festival from 4-7 p.m.Thursday at Atlas Elementary, 3000 W. Honeysuckle. Residents can learn about the latest updates to Hayden’s comprehensive plan and share their ideas to better the community.

- North Idaho College is hosting two of its annual “Gathering of Bands” concerts at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 13-14, in the Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center on NIC’s main campus. Each night, students from local middle schools gather to make music under the direction of guest clinician, Dr. Michael Keepe.

- Budding entrepreneurs can join Jamie Morgan from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Post Falls Library. Morgan will lead participants through a website planning process. The programs are sponsored by a grant from #GrowWithGoogle and presented by the North Idaho Small Business Development Center. Free. No registration required.

- The Hauser Lake Fire District holds its annual Shalena’s Breakfast with Santa from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Hauser Lake Fire Station. All you can eat sausage, eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy and pancakes. $3 each or $10 per family. Funds raised this year benefit 8-year-old Ellena, who has leukemia.
