TRUMP: Effective, if not loved
Donald Trump saw a home on fire and heard two kids inside screaming for help. He rushed into the burning structure, located the kids and ran back out with one under each arm. Both kids survived with minor injuries.
Media Headlines: “Trump flees burning home while parents of young children perish in flames.”
Despicable, but effectively true.
To be clear, proving guilt in the Mueller investigation or impeachment efforts is not the Democratic Party’s objective. It’s a lot easier to simply bombard the media with unproven rumors and false accusations that overshadow all recognition of Trump’s accomplishments. That’s how liberals intend to prevent his re-election.
Unemployment rates, U.S. economy, foreign trade, military strength, taxes, border security and patriotism have all been key issues in past presidential elections. And the truth is, Trump has already made more progress and measurable improvements in each of these areas than any other president in the past 50 years.
And guess what … that’s why the recent Democratic debates haven’t dialed in on these once important issues. Instead, every candidate spends the majority of their respective “talk time” to throw sticks and stones at Donald Trump.
Personally, I think Trump is an egomaniac who needs to better filter his tweets and comments.
I really don’t like the man, but I admire his fierce determination. Because he achieved those significant accomplishments while being poked with sharp sticks every step along the way.
Great leaders don’t have to be liked. They seldom are. They just need to be effective.
