REBUTTAL: Conservative vs. liberal

Dear Barb Crumpacker, I read your attack on the millions of Christians who happen to think that President Trump is God’s man of the hour. Admittedly, he is no saint. He says what he thinks and that upsets you.

Many past presidents were rotten to the core but their rotten deeds were kept secret. Your rant sounds like a chapter right out of the NBC workbook. It might be good to try switching channels or doing a few fact checks before going off.

If you are the Christian you indicate you are, whatever happened to (Matt 5:44): “I tell you, love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you?” Or maybe (Ephesians 4:2): “Be completely humble; be patient, bearing with one another in love?” How about (Luke 6:37): “Judge not, and you will not be judged. Condemn not and you shall not be condemned, forgive and you will be forgiven.” Maybe that would be a good place to start in your next prayer time.

Since your letter makes it obvious you are a liberal, here is what your party stands for whether you like it or not. You stand for same-sex marriage, abortion on demand, socialism, (the taking of assets of the hard working and giving to those who refuse to work) and all the rest of the garbage your buddy Bernie would dish out if he ever got the chance.
