Jennifer Lee Columbia, 49

Jennifer Lee Columbia was born March 8, 1970, to Edward and Nancy (Chase) Columbia, in San Rafael, Calif. She grew up in Colorado and moved to California during her freshman year in high school. She graduated from Mira Costa High School in 1988. She then attended El Camino College for cosmetology.

Jennifer lived in Coeur d’Alene and worked in various restaurants as a server. She was most recently working as a parts runner for O’Reilly Auto Parts, in Spokane, Wash.

She was united in marriage to Dan McCullough, on April 4, 2014. On Oct. 22, 2019, Jennifer unexpectedly left us at the young age of 49 years.

Jennifer attended The Altar Church, in Coeur d’Alene. She had a great love for music, often sharing songs with others related to happenings in her life. Her favorite song was ‘Landslide’ by Fleetwood Mac and ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ by the Bee Gees. She loved flowers (especially tulips), hearts and ladybugs. Jennifer loved God, her children and her friends. She was such a free spirit with a contagious laugh. She will be dearly missed by her entire family and all her friends.

Jennifer is lovingly remembered by her husband, Daniel McCullough of Coeur d’Alene; three children, Justin (and Sarah) Columbia of Coeur d’Alene, Bella Klein of Coeur d’Alene and Lola Klein of Coeur d’Alene; a granddaughter, Torrance Columbia; her mother, Nancy Casemore (Chase) of Coeur d’Alene; a sister, Wendy Hawkins of California; a brother, Ed Columbia of Oregon and her nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Columbia and her grandparents, Everett and Florence Chase.

Blessed be the memory of Jennifer Lee Columbia. We will miss you Jen.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Yates Funeral Home, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service.
