ELECTION: It's all partisan
In response to Dave Walker on Sunday, Oct. 27, he said he wants to know if the candidate for City Council is running on a political agenda. He said the City Council is the last bastion of non-partisan involvement. Are you kidding me? Everything is partisan in this day and age. Long gone are the days where the liberal minded and conservative minded can sit down and talk and meet in the middle. Today there is just too much of a divide.
With this supposed non-partisan position you can’t tell right away if the person leans left or right. Before you vote you better know if the person you are voting for is a liberal or a conservative.
Take a look at the major cities around the country that have been controlled by non-partisan liberals for decades, some for 50 years or more. Detroit, Baltimore, Los Angeles, San Francisco to name a few. Those are some of the large cities, but there are plenty of small cities that are in the same trouble. Do you think those cities end up like they are today by accident? No, they end up like that because of liberal points of view by the leadership.
To keep our cities and all of Idaho a wonderful and beautiful place to live, find out who you are voting for. Our future depends on it.
