The county’s fourth Roger’s Ice Cream & Burgers will open this week at 8833 N. Hess St. in Hayden.

The burgers are made completely from scratch (not frozen and no fillings) and cooked to order, and the french fries are made from locally grown potatoes. The ice creams, shakes and malts are of 17 flavors, with flavors (and burgers) of the month.

Roger’s started in 1940 in Moscow and moved to Coeur d’Alene in the 1980s with the original location where Vault Coffee is now, at Fourth and Sherman, later moving to 13th and Sherman (in the former Dari-Delite). They added a place on Neider Avenue in 2012 and in Post Falls in 2017.

Seating is inside and out with a drive-through. Owners Mark and Nicole Randolph have a theme of “Taste the Quality.” Open daily; hours vary with the seasons. Phone 208-772-6205. Check www.rogersicecreamburgers.com.
