The Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre will again perform while cruising the lake, but this time they will be joined by some friends, the Coeur d’Alene Symphony.

CDA Summer Theatre and the CDA Symphony will present “Broadway and Symphony on a Boat” on May 24, to introduce the Theatre’s upcoming season.

CDA Summer Theatre will produce three shows this year at the Kroc Center auditorium: Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” “Oklahoma!” and “Smokey Joe’s Café.” CDA Symphony has a full line-up of performance dates for their 40th season.

“We are delighted to have CDA Symphony join us on our annual pre-season cruise,” said CDA Summer Theatre Executive Director Tracey Vaughan. “Jan Pellant is a vibrant, positive leader, and the symphony is full of talented musicians. The two creative groups will really complement each other for what is sure to be an evening of beautiful songs on the lake.”

Tickets are $40 and are available at www.cdasummertheatre.com or by calling (208) 660-2958.

Boarding begins at 5:30 p.m. and the cruise sets sail from 6–8 p.m.
