ANGELS: Bringing joy to seniors

Silver Angels for the Elderly would like to thank those who helped bring joy to so many lonely elders through outreach projects at assisted living centers. Feedback has been so positive and uplifting that we wanted to share it with our friends and neighbors. Our Christmas parties enabled residents to connect with relatives and dear friends with whom they had lost touch.

Monthly birthday parties and special events we host have brought joy to residents through gifts and fellowship. We are currently working on our reminisce project to help seniors share their life stories by making memory boards for their rooms.

Our hope is that we can provide more birthday presents to isolated residents in the near future.

Thanks to all our volunteers who have demonstrated love and mercy through our outreach. We also wish to thank those who contributed to our cause. May God continue to bless us all with this rewarding ministry.

Thanks to: Jeanne MacConnell, Barbara Richardson, Jean Cisneros, Ann Brueggemann, the Cooper family, Linda Clark, Linda Harkson, Cindy Wilkerson, Rowena Cochran, Maria Ryder, Nancy Hurn, Jan D’Arc, Bonnie Warwick, Karen Gardy, Debbie Feddig, Nikki Arana, Brenda Knight, Brad Miles, Fab/Six, Theresa Richardson, Kathy Hostetter, Affinity Independent Living, Empire Airlines and Candlelight Christian Fellowship; and our board members: Wendy Werner, Peggy Lemm and Kersten Brinkworth.
