RESPONDERS: Top-notch service

A special thank-you to our Northern Lakes Fire District, Rathdrum police, Avista and our EMS from the residents and staff at Generations Assisted Living in Rathdrum.

On Thursday, March 7, around 6:45 a.m. our staff noticed the heavy odor of natural gas both inside and outside our facility. We immediately contacted our local fire department and within minutes we had firemen, police, Avista and EMS personnel at our door. Avista quickly discovered the problem and the critical situation was resolved.

Again, a big thank you to our local emergency services that keep our community safe, secure and protected.
