City Thrift opens in Cd'A Town Center

“Best quality and styles” is the motto of City Thrift that opens Friday in Suite B4 of Coeur d’Alene Town Center complex at 101 E. Appleway.
The store offers new and gently-used clothing, shoes, housewares, decor, furniture and more. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Manager John Klontz is helped by Ingrid Yonker.

With 24-hour access, Precision Fitness has opened at 1425 E. Sherman Ave. in what previously was an auto-care building.

Emergency Veterinary Hospital on Kathleen
Offering after-hours and weekend service, Emergency Veterinary Hospital is opening soon at 1336 W. Kathleen Ave.
With emergency and urgent care for dogs and cats, hours will be weeknights, weekends and holidays for treatment of injuries, wounds, toxin ingestion, surgery, metabolic diseases, oxygen support, blood transfusions and ongoing care of critical conditions.

- Staybridge Suites hotel is under construction in Riverstone. A Marriott Fairfield Inn is planned for nearby on Ironwood.
- A new building for Idaho Central Credit Union is under construction at 1327 W. Appleway. And a new one for Keller Williams Realty will open soon at 3931 Schreiber Way.
- North Idaho Eye Institute has a building under construction across from the Hayden library.
- Names and initials can be interesting. Add a middle initial “L” to “Norma,” an “N” to “Hell” and an “L” to “Letha.” My mom was “Gladys.” Her bridge club friends politely called her “Happy Bottom.” Get it?
