LEVY: Support the kids

As community members, and citizens of our local district, we have the distinct privilege to support students in ongoing and expanded efforts as outlined in the 2019 M & O Levy. Take time to review and VOTE FOR the upcoming School District Levy on March 12.

Let’s keep them SAFE, let’s keep them RELEVANT, let’s SUPPORT THEM with our affirmative vote! Talking about SAFETY, recent articles shared the simple act of SRO Deputy Doug and how he CHANGED A MOMENT for one Hayden elementary student. Voting for the levy continues resources like SROs at each school. These SROs help our children each day when not everyone has the time to observe and check on students. SRO Deputy Doug is professionally trained for just such a situation and he made an IMPACT for that one child that was noticed. I know he represents one of MANY such impacts our SROs have in the locals schools!

Our SROs MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Not just for on campus security, but also for public relationships. Having SROs on campuses allows our students to become familiar with those who are there to protect and serve. We don’t know what is happening in every student’s life, SROs serve secondarily as a gap to the unknown, making important connections and building trust.

We can keep this resource available to our local schools, and make a positive impact in our student’s lives. Vote YES for the School District Levy on March 12.
