MURAL: Kudos and criticism

On a recent trip to the Casino, using the Citylink bus service, I discovered that a mural is being painted on the underpass wall that comes under Seltice from the Atlas bike trail that goes around the river. It is right by the new bus station being built in Riverstone for the Citylink buses.

To the person(s) responsible for building the station — thank you. It’s going to be great.

To the person(s) responsible for painting the wall (in the dark, cold, night time hours) — you have done a beautiful job. I will enjoy it often. Thank you.

To the parents riding their bikes with their two children (who were stopped by the wall) — SHAME ON YOU for allowing your children to run up and down the wall all over the new paint. You are not teaching your children to respect other people’s property, or other people’s labor in a project like this! You don’t deserve to live in Coeur d’Alene.
