Lums fall, play for third today

BOZEMAN, Mont. — Quinn Conces hit a two-run double to score Landen Thompson and Marcus Manzardo in the second inning for the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen, who fell to 3-1 in the Bozeman Heroes Park Invitational following a 10-2 loss to the Helena Senators on Saturday.

Helena scored four runs in the first and fourth inning to pull away.

Coeur d’Alene (19-8-1) which beat Columbia Basin, Loveland (Colo.) and Jackson (Jackson Hole, Wyo.) earlier in tournament play, will face the Jackson Giants again today for third place at noon. Coeur d’Alene beat Jackson 8-1 on Friday.
