Dorothy Sarah Rupinski, 92

Dorothy Sarah Rupinski was born Oct. 29, 1926, to Thomas and Eva (Fever) Nichols, in McKeesport, Pa. She grew up and attended school there.

Dorothy was united in marriage to Frank Rupinski and their union was blessed with seven children. In 1963, the couple moved to Kellogg, Idaho, and in 1967 to Hayden, Idaho. Over the years, Dorothy raised the family and cared for their home.

Frank died in 1999. Following a decline in health in 2016, Dorothy entered the care of CDA Health of Cascadia. She died there on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the age of 92 years.

Dorothy enjoyed word searches and she especially loved time spent with her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Orlene (and Dean) Peterson, of Coeur d’Alene, Jerry “Deak” Rupinski of Hayden, Dianne (and Dick) Atkison of Moscow, Idaho and Tim (and Tammy) Rupinski of Dalton Gardens; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents, Thomas and Eva; children, Charlene Rupinski, Sharyl Rupinski and Eugene Rupinski; and brothers, Thomas Nichols and Harry Nichols.

Blessed and eternal be the memory of Dorothy Sarah Rupinski.

Private services and interment will be held at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens.
