Lee Brice coming to Coeur d'Alene Casino
WORLEY — The Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel will continue its summer concert series with Lee Brice at 7 p.m. on Aug. 2.
This is the latest concert in the new state-of-the-art event center, which has already welcomed superstars Cole Swindell, Wynonna and the Big Noise and Vince Neil.
“We’re proud to welcome country great Lee Brice to our new event center,” said Francis SiJohn, Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel CEO. Our summer is really heating up, and who better to bring it to a boil than Lee Brice?"
When you dig into Lee Brice’s music, with its thick grooves, squalling guitars, tumbling drums, sheets of steamy B-3 organ and wide open vocals, the two-time Country Music Association/Academy of Country Music/Grammy song of the year nominee takes listeners to church, school, home and out on a Saturday night.
For a man known for raucous live shows and contemplative songs, it's a gospel sound that drives his fourth album.
"I’ve tried to walk a fine line between the commercial and the things that are tangible,” Brice explained. "I’m on the road 200 days a year, trying to write songs when I’m in town. But I also want to make a life; I have a wife, a baby, two little boys and a home. That’s important to me. So when I’m home, I work harder and dig deeper into living. You know, you have to live so you have something to work from and write about.”
Brice will perform in the event center, located at 37914 S. Nukwalqw Road, Worley. Tickets are available through www.cdacasino.com or the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel box office at 1-800-523-2624.
