- Idaho Department of Labor will host a job fair at 600 N. Thornton St., Post Falls, on Wednesday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to noon. Dress for success, bring your resume and be prepared to fill out applications. For a list of employers, visit labor.idaho.gov/coe.
- The Sunrise Rotary Club of Coeur d’Alene has named Jennifer Brumley president as of July 1. Brumley joined the Sunrise Rotary in 2009 and has been a member of its board of directors for four years, including one year as president-elect.
- Mountain West Bank, a division of Glacier Bank founded in Coeur d’Alene in 1993, appointed Scott Atkison a director. Atkison was president of Bennett Asset Management in Spokane. He ran Idaho Forest Group from 2008 though 2017. Mountain West operates 23 locations throughout Idaho, Washington and Utah.
• The Post Falls Library will hold a free outdoor fair from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday. There will be music, games, treats, animals from the Kootenai Humane Society, summer reading sign-ups and chocolate prizes.
• Sens. Mike Crapo and Jim Risch, representing Idaho, voted in favor of House Resolution 3401, which provides $4.5 billion in emergency aid and support along the southern border. The bill, introduced in the House of Representatives June 21 to arrest the humanitarian crisis at the border, won with overwhelming 84-8 Senate support and now faces signature or veto from President Trump.
