- On Monday, the state’s "Move Over" law is expanding to include responders to roadside emergencies. Drivers already must move over for law-enforcement personnel operating with flashing lights. Now, drivers also must move over for other emergency responders, such as Idaho Transportation Department workers and tow-truck operators using flashing lights.

- The Coeur d’Alene Library will show “Escape Room” at 8 p.m. Friday in the library’s community room. Teens welcome. Movie night is free and open to the public.

- North Idaho STEM Charter Academy outperformed other schools in the region and state in SAT scores. North Idaho STEM's juniors averaged 554 on the reading and writing section of the test and 574 on the math section for a total average of 1,129, just 150 points below top-scoring Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy and 80 points above Coeur d'Alene High School.

• Bay Shore Systems, a Rathdrum-based drilling equipment manufacturer, will host its annual charity golf tournament Saturday, July 13, at Prairie Falls Golf Club in Post Falls.
