ICF welcomes Heidi Rogers to board of directors

The Idaho Community Foundation is pleased to welcome Heidi Rogers to its board of directors.

Rogers is the CEO of Northwest Council for Computer Education (NCCE), a nonprofit professional learning organization and the largest training partner for Microsoft. She recently retired from the University of Idaho after 25 years as a leader in educational technology and a partner of NCCE.

A well-known community leader and avid volunteer, Rogers is past president of six nonprofit organizations, including the Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club, Coeur d’Alene Rotary Foundation, the EXCEL Foundation, Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), NCCE and the International Society of Technology Education (ISTE). She is also president-elect of the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Heidi has been a steadfast community volunteer with a variety of local nonprofit organizations, including serving as an Idaho Community Foundation grant panelist representing Kootenai County for six years. She has participated on the Coeur d’Alene Library Foundation Board, the EXCEL Foundation, Kootenai Health Foundation Festival of Trees, Coeur d’Irish, Coeur d’Alene Summer Theater, Hospice of North Idaho and Wine, Women and Shoes.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Rogers received her doctorate of education in curriculum and instruction from Oklahoma State University, with an emphasis in information communication and educational technology. She also received her master of science degree in curriculum and instruction, with an emphasis in secondary education and her Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from OK State.
