COLUMN: Don't waste wise words

My thanks to Sholeh Patrick for her “Doubt yourself or stagnate” column. It reveals yet another dangerous property of mindless extremism.

Unfortunately, I doubt that it will reach those tribesmen with “hands over ears and megaphone to mouth,” because they also wear blinders which would preclude them from reading it. Nevertheless, her words should encourage the metacognitive among us never to succumb to the attractive delusions of self righteousness and superiority afflicting those who embrace extreme tribalism.

It was a wonderfully written column with wise words of warning. Thanks again.
