Low numbers cost Prairie twinbill

LEWISTON — Due to a low number of available players, Prairie forfeited Wednesday’s North Idaho League doubleheader with the Lewis-Clark Twins at Harris Field.

Prairie, now 4-13-1, 1-4 in league, is scheduled to host the Northwest Blaze in the Best of the Northwest tournament at Post Falls High starting at 10 a.m.

Lewis-Clark, which split a doubleheader with Coeur d’Alene in Lewiston on Tuesday, is 8-6, 3-1.

The teams are scheduled to meet again on July 13 at Post Falls High in another doubleheader starting at 3 p.m.
