- Kootenai Health hosts “Eat to Beat Colon Cancer” at the hospital tonight from 5 to 7 p.m., including a live cooking demonstration and presentations by Marana Helland of Kootenai Health and Nutrition Services; Gavin Young, a gastroenterologist; and Marcus Togenston, a surgeon. The event is free and open to the public.

- Coeur d’Alene’s Urban Renewal Agency, ignite cda, approved its share of the Memorial Grandstands remodel at the agency’s board meeting Wednesday. ignite voted unanimously to approve the $1,093,487 it will contribute to keep the historic Coeur d’Alene ballpark upright and Title IX-compliant.

- Retiring Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Steve Wilson thanked the city for its partnership during Tuesday night’s City Council meeting. Mayor Steve Widmyer thanked Wilson for his years of service.
