Weather to turn cooler

After days of warm weather and sunshine, Kootenai County will cool down for a few days.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny with a slight breeze, then begin to cool down with a low of 48 degrees tonight and southwest winds of 7 to 13 mph.
Residents can expect a 50 percent chance of scattered showers after 11 a.m. Thursday. The day will be mostly cloudy with a high of 62 and a low of 49, with southwest winds gusting up to 18 mph.
Friday is expected to be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain. The expected high is 69, the low 52.
Warm weather will be returning with a partly sunny Saturday and a high of 74.
