USDA - Forest Service Idaho Panhandle National Forests Coeur d'Alene River Ranger District Kootenai County, Idaho The Coeur d'Alene River Ranger District of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests is seeking comments on activities proposed on National Forest System lands in the English Point Recreation Area, located approximately eight miles northeast of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho (see enclosed map). The proposal has been identified as the English Point Forest Health Project. The 358-acre project area is located within Kootenai County, at the junction of Lancaster and English Point roads (T51N, R3W, Section 9; Boise Meridian). The Forest Plan provides direction to manage for healthy, resilient, and spatially diverse forest conditions that would facilitate fire management and provide a safe recreational experience of a healthy forest. Desired structural conditions and species composition would better resist root diseases and pathogens, insects, and disturbances. Vegetative treatments (commercial timber harvest, non-commercial tree removal, and tree planting) are proposed to restore sustainable forest conditions that contribute to the desired character and setting of the recreation opportunity for the long term. These treatments would promote forest resilience by targeting composition, structure, and health objectives while minimizing impacts to recreation use, scenic quality, and the character of the recreation setting. A letter has been sent to those people potentially interested in or affected by the proposal, further describing conditions in the project area, the purpose and need for action, and proposed activities. The information is also available at the Idaho Panhandle National Forests' website: http://www.fs.usda.gov/project/?project=56148. The Coeur d'Alene River Ranger District is requesting comments about this proposed action. Comments should be within the scope of the proposed action, have a direct relationship to the proposed action, and must include supporting reasons for the Responsible Official to consider. Written, facsimile, hand-delivered, oral, and electronic comments will be accepted for 30 calendar days following publication of legal notice in the Coeur d'Alene Press newspaper. Written comments must be mailed or hand-delivered to our Fernan Office, 2502 East Sherman Avenue, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, 83814. The office business hours for those submitting hand-delivered comments are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Electronic comments can be submitted on the project website: http://www.fs.usda.gov/project/?project=56148. On the right-hand side click on "Get Connected", then "Comment on Project"). Electronic comments may be submitted in a format such as an e-mail message, plain text (.txt), rich text format (.rtf), or Word (.doc). Those submitting electronic comments should put the project name in the subject line. It is the responsibility of persons providing comments to submit them by the close of the comment period and to ensure that their comments have been received when they are submitted electronically. Comments received, including names and addresses of those who comment, will be considered part of the public record for this project, available for public inspection, and released if requested under the Freedom of Information Act. This proposal meets the criteria to be categorically excluded from documentation in an environmental assessment or environmental impact statement (Forest Service Handbook 1909.15, 32.2) under the Healthy Forests Restoration Act -Sections 603(c)(2)(A) and (B), and 36 CFR 220.6(d)(4). The Responsible Official for this project is District Ranger Dan Scaife. The decision is not subject to administrative review (appea/objection) pursuant to 36 CFR 215.12. For more information, please contact Kyla Berendzen at the Fernan Office of the Coeur d'Alene River Ranger District, 2502 East Sherman Avenue, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814; (208) 769-3027. Please note: The above named Grantors are named to comply with Idaho Code Section 45-1506(4)(a); no representation is made that they are, or are not, presently responsible for the obligation. The default for which this sale is to be made is the failure to make monthly payments when due from 9/1/2018 and all subsequent monthly payments thereafter, including installments of principal, interest, impounds, advances, plus any charges lawfully due under the note secured by the aforementioned Deed of Trust, Deed of Trust and as allowed under Idaho Law. The sum owing on the obligation secured by said Deed of Trust as of 6/7/2019 is $486,986.11 including interest, costs, fees, including trustee and/or attorney fees and costs, and expenses actually incurred in enforcing the obligation thereunder or in this sale and to protect the security associated with the Deed of Trust, as authorized in the Note, Deed of Trust or as allowed under Idaho Law. Because interest, late charges, fees, costs and expenses continue to accrue, the total amount due varies from day to day. Hence, if you pay the amount shown above, an adjustment may be necessary after receipt of funds to satisfy the debt.
