- Inside today’s edition: Your complete guide to Car d’Lane. Registration for the annual event begins at 9 a.m. Friday morning. The cruise begins at 6 p.m. and lasts until 9 p.m. Awards at 3:30 p.m Saturday at Fifth and Sherman.

- The public is invited to the Health Corridor Visioning Workshop tonight at 5 p.m. at the Midtown Centeer Meeting Room, 1505 N. Fifth St, Coeur d’Alene.

- Students in Avery School District in Calder — the smallest school district in the state — soon will have high-speed internet access for the first time. Universal Services Administrative Co. will pay 90 percent of the $2.8 million cost for project. The remaining 10 percent will be covered by Idaho State Department of Education grants.

- The Coeur d’Alene Air Expo is set for July 20 and 21 at the Coeur d’Alene Airport/Pappy Boyington Field. One of the last flying B-17s will be featured. Attendees can tour and fly on one of the few remaining B-25s in the world. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

- The Press offices will close at 3 p.m. Friday so our employees may enjoy Car d’Lane.
