ROADS: Plea for prevention

I sure wish local government highway and county and city roads maintenance crews did a better job crack sealing, patching and slurry sealing local asphalt roadways. I’ve only noticed limited road projects doing such work. I know doing preventative maintenance is a lot easier and cheaper than replacing or capping roadways. Water gets under pavement, then in cold months it freezes and thaws, causing the asphalt to come loose, creating potholes.

Keep taxes down for taxpayers. Please do more preventative maintenance. Local government leaders please read this. Save citizens taxes.
