All-Academic teams

PAC-12 CONFERENCE

Kyler Little (Lake City High), sr., Washington State track and field, was a first team selection (4.0). Teammate Josie Brown (Coeur d’Alene High), sr., was an honorable mention (3.60). To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA and be either a starter or significant contributor, and completed at least one year in residence at their current institution.

Ridgefield Raptors

Hicks, a Coeur d’Alene High first baseman who went on to play at Yavapai and Portland before transferring to Boise State, is playing summer baseball with the Ridgefield Raptors of the West Coast League.

Kyle Manzardo

Portland Pickles

Manzardo, a first baseman/designated hitter from Lake City High who recently completed his freshman year at Washington State, went 2 for 3 with two singles and a stolen base in the Pickles’ 3-0 win over the Port Angeles at Walker Stadium.

Wenatchee Applesox

Kolden, an infielder from Lake City High who recently completed his freshman year at Washington State, went 1 for 3 with a double and was hit by a pitch in the Applesox 3-1 win over the Victoria HarbourCats in the season opener on Wednesday at Paul Thomas Field at Wenatchee Valley Community College.
