Kent Bryan Treece, 76

It is with a sad heart that we announce that Kent left this world on May 15, 2019.

Kent was born July 6, 1942, in California, where he grew up and went to school in the Sun Valley area. He and his childhood friend, Red, were joined at the hip doing all the things that young boys do.

Kent met and married Janice Dvorak in 1962. They moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, in 1980. They were married for 57 years.

Kent is survived by Janice; two daughters, Shelley and Joann; four grandsons: Jason, Jerome, Jeffrey and Joel; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cluster N. Treece and Dorothy Wright Treece; and a brother and a sister.

Kent worked as a general foreman in the plastic manufacturing field at several institutions during his career. He also worked at Post Falls High School, where he retired as a day custodian. Always busy, Kent remodeled his whole basement to beautiful living quarters.

He is lovingly missed by all who knew him. At his request, no services will be held.
