Lillian Washburn, 93

Lillian Washburn passed away on May 24, 2019. She was born Nov. 23, 1925, and was raised in Minnesota.

Lillian met Don Washburn in Chicago, where he attended Moody Bible College, and they were married in 1945. Her life with Don started with travel and visits to churches, before they finally settled in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, in 1955, where they raised five children. Lillian worked side-by-side with Don through their 72 years of marriage. She especially enjoyed ministering to others through music and being a great hostess. Lillian and Don led their band, The Full Gospel Jubilee, for over 20 years.

She is survived by one brother, Clifford Raad of Chicago, Ill.; her five children: Gerald, Larry, Ronald, Kathy and Kristi (and their spouses), in addition to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will always be loved, missed and greatly appreciated.

A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Both will take place at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, ID.
