Leah Aslanzadeh and Dan Lawrence urge passing drivers on U.S. 95 to honk their horns in support of President Trump. Aslanzadeh and Lawrence were part of a robust, energetic President Trump rally competing with an anti-hate demonstration near the Coeur dAlene IHOP early Friday morning. Organizers from both rallies left healthy tips to IHOP servers and staff to make up for lost business, as the anti-hate rally prompted leaders of the North Idaho Pachyderm Club to cancel their monthly IHOP meeting due to the attention of the anti-hate rally.

Demonstrators showed up in force Friday morning for an anti-hate rally at the Coeur dAlene IHOP. Approximately 30 protesters held signs and cheered peaceful messages outside the Coeur dAlene IHOP, where anti-Muslim activist Brittany Pettibone was scheduled to speak to the conservative North Idaho Pachyderm Club. Pettibone and the club canceled her appearance because of the nearby rally, but protesters decided to show up to support their message.
