A picture might be worth a thousand words, but the memories are priceless.

That’s why a local landscaping business has asked for the community’s help to reunite a family with their missing photos.

While tearing out shrubs along the bike path near the new at home store at 201 W. Neider in Coeur d’Alene, an Ultra-Lawn employee made an unusual discovery among the bushes: a family photo album, orange and red with a floral design on the cover.

“It’s got hundreds of photos in it,” Ultra-Lawn Chief Financial Officer Linda Gibson said.

There’s no telling how the album got there, Gibson said, but it wasn’t wet or damaged, which suggests it landed in the bushes recently.

The inside cover of the album is inscribed with personal messages wishing “Mom and Dad” a happy 34th anniversary.

“If it were my photo album, I would really want it back,” Gibson said.

She added that Ultra-Lawn is determined to find the family who lost the album.

“Community means something to us,” Gibson said. “So when we find something like that, we want to get it back to the rightful owner.”

But they could use some help.
