SOMALI: Is that a dirty word?

Ilhan Omar entered the U.S. under a legal volunteer agency and attended the University of North Dakota. She is among thousands of Somalis coming here due to the civil war in their country. Quite a community in the Minneapolis area, owning businesses, living in their communities, much as Italians, Irish, many others coming to America for safety and a democratic way of life.

Rather than being told to “go back where she came from,” I think she should be given an award for being a foreign-born woman accomplishing a college education and making her way into center-left politics and getting duly elected to U.S. Congress.

Being liberal isn’t yet a crime in America. Even Nazi-ism isn’t a crime, unfortunately. I would much more like to see the “neo-nazis” in our country “go back where they came from.” Trouble is, they come from HERE! Get the picture, Mr. Trump?
