- Anglers may visit a free fishing exhibition sponsored by Berkley and Abu Garcia at Black Sheep Sporting Goods, 3534 N Government Way. The exhibit opens at noon.

- Kootenai Environmental Alliance will hold free educational boat tours to raise awareness about environmental issues from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 and Aug. 24. RSVP: Audra Holm,audra@kealliance.org or 208-667-9093.

- Heritage Health will hold an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 22 at 1090 W. Park Place, Coeur d'Alene, behind the Lake City Center. There will be door prizes, swag bags, music, tours and refreshments.

- Join North Idaho Habitat for Humanity for a family-friendly party and concert from 2 to 9 p.m. on Saturday at McEuen Park in Coeur d'Alene. The Kelly Hughes Band will perform at 5 p.m. There will be food and beer vendors all day, plus bounce houses for kids. Admission $5. Kids 10 and younger get in free.
