- The city of Coeur d’Alene posted a one-hour video on its website for developers who could not attend the July 17 Atlas Open House. The YouTube link captures artist renderings, diagrams and phased construction information among its presentations, as well as a brief Q&A session.

- The Rotary Club of Coeur d’Alene has named Claudia Brennan its Rotarian of the Year. A longtime businesswoman and 40-year resident of Kootenai County, Brennan has been active in the Rotary Club since 1993.

- Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol will conduct an emphasis patrol on the Spokane River starting Friday and continuing through this weekend and next. Patrols will target wake-zone violations, speed and other boating-related violations. The Sheriff’s Office offers free boating safety classes. Information at 208-446-1362.
