Manzardo, a rising junior at Lake City High, hit .467 (7 for 15) with 10 runs batted in and four runs scored for the Lums, who finished 2-3 at the Boise Summer Classic. For the season, Manzardo is batting .359 (37 for 104) with 33 runs batted in. “Marcus has an exceptional eye at the plate,” Coeur d’Alene coach Erik Karns said. “He leads our team in walks (33) and least strikeouts (6). He’s a fiery competitor and important part of our team’s success this summer.”
