Janet Mason
Janet Mason (previously Janet Morris) was born in Kellogg, Idaho, in December of 1960. She was the fourth of five children born to Bud and Gloria Morris.
The family moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, in November of 1963. She lived most of her life in Coeur d’Alene and graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School, then later obtained a bachelor’s degree at Eastern Washington University.
Janet loved music and had a phenomenal memory of music artists and their work. Later in life, Janet was proud to be a member of Coeur d’Aleers chorus.
She was a true warrior, fighting advanced breast cancer with a positive “can-do” attitude for over 10 years, before succumbing to the disease.
Janet is survived by her two children: Renee Morris and Damian McGinley, along with her three brothers: Bob, Jack and Danny Morris.
A memorial service for Janet will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the First Presbyterian Church located at 521 E. Lakeside Ave., in Coeur d’Alene.
