SPOTLIGHT: Thinking is believing
Gordon Sanders, you say yes put myself and others “in the spotlight,” as though you were a cop and we were the villains in the dead of night. In fact, you have just given us center stage. (Congrats to Hans Neumann for getting top billing.)
I also would like to say the Coeur d’Alene Press editorial section is in fact top rate and the editor allows all views to be printed. Take your letter for example. You tell us “spotlighters,” and I quote, “Don’t believe everything you think.” Here’s a question: Do you believe everything you think? Of course you do. Otherwise, you wouldn’t think it. Now, any intelligent person knows that just because you think it or believe it, doesn’t make it fact; it’s just what you believe to be true. So here’s my question Gordon. If I shouldn’t believe everything I think, should I believe everything you think? I think not.
