- The first phase of the Post Falls Evergreen Cemetery expansion is open. The 3-acre addition is south of the Gladys Schneidmiller Celebration of Life Fountain. It adds 1,500 burial lots and 96 niches that are now for sale. Information: 208-777-4478

- Coeur d’Alene Summer Theater presents the musical “Oklahoma!” July 11 to 28 at The Kroc Center, 1765 W Golf Course Road. Adult tickets, $49; $42 for seniors/military and $27 for children. Info: cdasummertheatre.com

- The Kootenai County Democrats will host two Republican Idaho State House Representatives, Paul Amador and Jim Addis, as guest speakers at noon on today at their weekly meeting at the Iron Horse Restaurant.

- Schweitzer Mountain Resort has begun construction on a 30 unit, ski in/ski out boutique hotel adjacent to the existing Selkirk Lodge. It will include a 50-seat restaurant, bar and outdoor patio, co-working space and exercise area. The opening is anticipated in Fall 2020.
