2019 Garden Tour tickets on sale now
The 22nd annual Coeur d’Alene Garden Club Garden Tour is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 14.
The five stops on the tour, located throughout Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls, will open their gates to visitors to allow a peek into the toil and artistry of local gardeners.
There’s something to inspire everyone, Garden Tour chairperson Bonnie Warwick said. One garden on the map is large, two are smaller and two are somewhere between.
While viewing creative landscaping, bursts of color and texture, peaceful pools and more, participants on the self-guided tour will be treated to live music throughout the gardens.
At the “artisan alley,” visitors may peruse and purchase garden-related artwork and crafts, including copies of the collector’s garden poster for 2019.
New this year: Bring your trusted but perhaps rusted gardening tools to be sharpened on site.
The Garden Tour will happen rain or shine. Please, no strollers, pets, unattended children or smoking while visiting the gardens.
Tickets are $15 now until the day before the event and can be bought online at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/4223748, or at local gardening centers and nurseries. Same-day tickets will be available during the event at any of the listed locations or at the gardens for $20.
Proceeds benefit nearly a dozen area nonprofits and focus on education for local high school students who are not eligible for financial aid for dual enrollment at North Idaho College.
