- Coeur d’Alene Public Library will host sensory story time at 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday for children ages 2 to 6 with developmental disabilities or sensory processing disorders, and their caregivers. The reading and literacy skill building event is funded by the Coeur d’Alene Library Foundation.
- Today from 8:15 to 11:30 p.m. Rathdrum Parks and Recreation will play “Ralph Breaks The Internet” at 5750 W. Majestic Ave. as its movie in the park.
- The Theresa Edwards Band, a country and classic rock group whose frontwoman hails from Spokane, will play at Coeur d’Alene’s City Park on Sunday. Part of Coeur d’Alene’s City Park Summer Concert Series, the group will take the stage from 1 to 4 p.m.
- The city of Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission is accepting nominations for the 24th Annual Mayor’s Awards in the Arts. Nominations may be submitted by art organizations, individuals, businesses or students and must be received by Aug. 30. Nominees may be businesses, organizations, individuals or students who have made a significant local contribution to the arts.
