Etter signs with

Eastern Washington

Hailee Etter, who compiled 567 kills, 286 digs and 115 blocks in her two years at North Idaho College, will continue her playing career at Eastern Washington, second-year Eastern coach Leslie Flores-Cloud announced.

Etter, a Shadle Park product, appeared in 30 matches as a sophomore, finishing with double-digit kills in 14 matches with five double-doubles.

“I’m really excited to bring in Hailee,” Flores-Cloud said. “She knows the Spokane area well as she was born and raised here. Hailee is going to add depth in both the outside and middle spot. I see her jumping in and competing very quickly. She had lots of experience over the last two years at North Idaho, and we’re excited to welcome her.”

During her time at North Idaho, she was named to the East Region second-team as a freshman before improving to the first-team as a sophomore. She was also named to the All-Star team as a sophomore.
