Garcia was the top finisher from Kootenai County in Sunday’s Ironman 70.3 Coeur d’Alene, finishing in 4 hours, 10 minutes and 42 seconds. “The guys out here continue to get faster and faster,” said Garcia, who finished 18th overall. “The competition just keeps getting better and better. The bike was a little more challenging for me this time around, but the toughest part was just the people around me. The very best come out to Coeur d’Alene every year, and this was no different.”
