- Fire danger in Kootenai County is high, effective today at 8 a.m. Recreational fires are still allowed, with safety provisions in place, such as readily available water and clear space around the fire pit. Propane fire pits are also still allowed at this time.

- St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho needs donations for the H.E.L.P. Center. The center serves 150 - 200 people per day, including seniors and families with children, who need housing, food and job referrals. Items like protein bars, peanut butter, crackers and tuna are especially needed. Donations are accepted Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at 201 E. Harrison Ave. in Coeur d’Alene.
