NATO: Globalist agenda alert

| January 30, 2019 12:00 AM

I was pleased to read in the Coeur d’Alene Press that Representative Russ Fulcher voted with all my other favorite Congressmen to oppose a “lock-in” of our involvement with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. As the European Union continues to force their weaker members to accept overwhelming numbers of migrants, many worry that NATO will be the enforcement mechanism used to compel obedience. We don’t want our country to get suckered into a world war to secure the rights of EU bureaucrats to flood European countries in pursuit of some globalist agenda.

I was NOT pleased to read that Rep. Fulcher still holds a neoconservative perspective regarding Russia. In the article, Fulcher described Russia as a “bad actor,” which was affirmed by a voice from academia, which in itself should raise a red flag.

But as Harvard political scientist Samuel Huntington explained in his book “Who Are We?”: “American elites have become ‘denationalized’, shifting their identities and loyalties away from this country and becoming cosmopolitan, transnational, and defining themselves explicitly as citizens of the world who just happen to have an American passport. This is a result of the process of Globalization.”

The same is true all over the West. Our leaders have sold us out. As globalists flood Europe with migrants, only Russia has the strength to prevent a total absorption of Western Civilization into this globalized anti-culture.

Leftist elites from government, the media and academia may call this being a “bad actor”… but I call it our only hope.
