A trio of teens arrested Tuesday by Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputies are accused of burglarizing multiple vehicles in Hayden.

Chase Parmer, 18, of Hayden; Richard Steele, 19, of Hayden; and Dylan Riddle, 19, of Boise, were observed around 2:30 a.m. by deputies patrolling the area of north Strahorn Road and east Miles Avenue. According to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office, the teens were acting suspicious. One of the teens was detained by the deputies, and the two others fled, but were located shortly after and detained.

The deputies’ investigation led them to believe the young men had been burglarizing vehicles in the area of Dakota Avenue, Sunview Lane, north Strahorn Road and east Miles Avenue.

“… the males admitted entering at least 12 vehicles in the area,” said the news release.

The three young men were subsequently arrested on suspicion of multiple counts of burglary, resisting and obstructing, grand theft and possession of stolen property.

The Sheriff’s Office will be attempting to locate the owners of the recovered stolen property to return it to them.
