KALISPELL, Mont. — Reserves Kennedy LaFountaine and Maya Blake hit big shots in the fourth quarter as the Post Falls Trojans surged past the Glacier Wolfpack 38-35 on Friday night to snap an eight-game losing streak.

Bubba Gleaves scored 12 points for Post Falls (3-12), and Jayda Johnson added nine.

“They’ve got two girls that are 6-2, so we were outsized,” Post Falls coach Marc Allert said. “Our guards did a good job pressuring, and not letting the ball get down into the post. Dylan Lovett did a good job pressuring their guards.”

Aubrie Rademacher led Glacier with 10 points.

Post Falls wraps up its visit to Kalispell with a noon PST matchup vs. Flathead.

Glacier 48 (OT)

KALISPELL, Mont. — Gavven Desjarlais and Alex Horning scored three points each in overtime, pushing the Trojans past the Wolfpack.

Colby Gennett hit a 3-pointer with 40 seconds remaining for Post Falls to tie it at 44. Neither team got another shot off in regulation.

Desjarlais and Gennett had five rebounds each for Post Falls.

“Gavven played really well throughout,” Post Falls coach Mike McLean said. “Glacier is a big, rugged team that likes to bang around the basket. Gavven did a good job of getting some chances around the basket. Defensively, we were solid all night. We gave up too many offensive rebounds in the second quarter (7), and we talked about not allowing that in the second half. It was a battle, but it showed we’re progressing the way we want to. We had to find a way to win, and we did.”

Post Falls (9-4) faces Flathead of Kalispell today at 1:45 p.m. PST.

Drew Engellant and Bret Michaels scored 12 points each for Glacier.
